Happy Hour on the Patio in Costa Mesa
There’s a two-hour stretch on weekday afternoons when this place is at its best. The patio fills up slowly, string lights crisscross overhead, music carries from the thatched-roof bar, and nobody’s watching the clock. That’s Onda Hour.
We kept the list deliberately short. Rather than discount half the menu, we took a few of the things guests already come back for and cut the price hard — the Casa Margarita goes from $15 to $10, and a full plate of Onda Nachos from $13 to $9. The draw isn’t a long list of deals. It’s the patio, the food, and the two hours you didn’t plan on staying for.
